Nilesh Vikamsey, a Fellow Chartered Accountant, has been an integral part of the accounting profession since 1985. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to the field, showcasing expertise in various domains such as audit, financial services, consultancy, investigations, mergers and acquisitions, valuations, and more.
In 1985, he embarked on his partnership journey, entrusted with overseeing the audit department until 1990. Subsequently, he assumed responsibility for a diverse array of assignments related to financial services, consultancy, investigations, mergers and acquisitions, valuations, and beyond. His commitment to excellence and comprehensive understanding of the financial landscape have positioned him as a trusted authority in the industry.
Academic Achievements :
He is a proud member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) since 1982. His commitment to staying at the forefront of industry knowledge is reflected in his additional qualifications, including -
- Certificate Course on Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection by the Digital Accounting and Assurance Board (DAAB) of ICAI (2021).
- Diploma in Information System Audit (DISA) from ICAI (2003).
- Business Consultancy Studies Course from Bombay Chartered Accountants Society and Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) in 2000-2001.
Leadership and Recognition :
His leadership extends to the apex of the accounting profession. He served as the President of ICAI in 2017-18 and was elected a member of the Central Council for three consecutive terms spanning 2010-2019.
Currently, he holds the prestigious position of Chairperson of the National BFSI Committee of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce.
